Project Portal

A look at select projects currently moving through Nick Carr Studio. Some are public, some are private, and some are still taking shape behind the curtain.

This is where early ideas, active collaborations, and story-driven experiments begin to turn into something real.

Theatrical Projection Design

Nick Carr Studio is creating custom projection artwork and scenic visual assets for a live stage production of Disney’s Frozen: The Broadway Musical.

“Rooted in the theatre world I grew up in and built with a filmmaker’s eye for cinematic realism, this work is designed to help the stage feel bigger, deeper, and more alive. The goal is to support the story, elevate the atmosphere, and give audiences that feeling of being transported to the world of the show.”

Select materials are available through a custom built private portal for approved production collaborators.

Early Development

Stan Jones

Before this one becomes anything else, go buy the book and read it first.

Luke Wronski’s Stan Jones is a strange, funny, sci-fi-leaning ride with the kind of premise that makes you stop reading and go, “Wait... what is this?” It has that rare mix of weirdness, heart, and cinematic potential that immediately makes the studio gears start turning.

Nick Carr Studio is currently exploring early audiobook and pilot episode materials for Stan Jones. This is the beginning of a creative development process, focused on finding the voice, tone, rhythm, and visual language of Stan’s story before anything gets bigger than it needs to be.

In other words: read the book first. Then come peek behind the curtain.
